Which? tested over 36 types of battery in its comprehensive review. The actual test consisted of a computer-controlled rig which turns each battery on and off to simulate everyday use. The batteries were also subjected to several different load situations which simulate MP3 players and digital cameras, to see how they cope with different drain situations.
